Deep Waters: Finding Flow in a Turbulent World

Imagine waking up in the jungle, the air warm and alive with sound. Begin your day with movement—slow, intentional, awakening something within you that has been waiting.

You’re welcomed to a shared meal that nourishes body and soul. You wander to the ocean to feel a part of something larger. Swim beneath waterfalls that remind you of the unstoppable nature of life.

THE FIVE ELEMENTS

Our week is guided by the wisdom of Ayurveda’s five bhutas, or elements—simple, grounding, and deeply practical:

  • Earth — grounding, stability, belonging

  • Water — flow, emotion, adaptability

  • Fire — courage, clarity, action

  • Air — breath, perspective, possibility

  • Space — intuition, openness, integration

These are not just ideas. They are tools you can return to—again and again—when life feels overwhelming. This isn’t about escaping your life—it’s about coming back to it in a better place.

Sample Daily Schedule:

  • Wake to the sounds of the jungle and flowing water

  • Enjoy your choice of fresh water, teas and coffee at the hydration station, always available and well stocked

  • Morning yoga flow

  • Freshen up in your private outdoor shower, from which you might catch sight of a Scarlet Macaw, Fiery-billed Aracari (Toucan) or the rare Turquoise Cotinga particular to this region

  • Communal breakfast

  • Free time to lounge in the open air mermaid pool, take a short stroll through the shops of Dominical, wander the beach, book a surfing lesson

  • Communal lunch

  • Aerial Yoga session

  • Free time to explore, relax, book a massage, or simply reflect and journal

  • Evening yoga with cacao ceremony and sound bath

  • Communal dinner

  • Fireside chats or dance to local musicians at Fuego, next door

  • Rest deeply, immersed in paradise

Come as you are. Leave with community. Connection begins well before our travels do, with multiple social events leading up to our departure, intended to make the trip itself feel like a reunion. An integration gathering in September offers an opportunity to share and extend the impact.
